Today I sit and ponder
What life is all about.
If it weren’t for my Savior,
Life would fill with doubt!
Observing from news and papers
The turmoil our world is in.
How long can it all continue
With the world so full of sin?
The news we hear is so awful.
It fills our hearts with grief.
The good news we read in the Bible
Is the only source of relief.
Turn your heart to the Bible.
Cling to the cross with delight.
The wrong will perish forever,
But reward in Heaven for right.

Martha, your words ring true. Every Christian faces so much noise called news that only visits to God’s own word can lift us above the morass to truth and uplifting love. May God bless you as you bring his blessings to us through your words.
